What should the water temperature for a goldfish be?

64-74 degrees Fahrenheit is optimal, though they can survive in water slightly colder or warmer. However, warm water holds less oxygen than cold, so water over 74 degrees isn’t the best idea. Depending where you live, room temperature is usually fine.

Anywhere between 67 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit is good to keep your fish happy. Believe me, I speak from expirience.
