My house air conditioner keeps freezing up. What do I do to correct this? What is wrong?
We use it once it has defrosted and dried out for 24 hours but, it keeps happening.
It is very possible your AC unit is out of freon. Getting it recharged should fix the problem.
Also make sure your air filters are clean - lack of air can speed up the freezing process.

I agree with Adog, until you get it fixed lower the cooling temp so the compressor is not running all the time, it will give the coils a chance to dry out. Make sure you don’t have kids leaving outside doors open longer than needed.
