Dealing With Low Water Pressure

When you buy a new home many times you assume everything will be perfect. It is hard to imagine problems with a brand new house, but this happens more often than not. This is especially the case with low water pressure. Generally, when you are looking at the home you may turn a sink on or flush a toilet. However, you rarely turn on the washing machine, the dishwasher, take a shower, and try to water plants outside at the same time. If you were to do this then you would get a better idea of the water pressure in the home. When you find out that you have low hot water pressure then you will want to contact your builder immediately. Should your builder not respond to your inquiries about your low home water pressure then you will want to try and deal with the problem on your home. The first thing you should do is check on the water valves at the street that lead to your home. If the valves are completely open then that is not your water pressure issue. If they are not then you will want to evaluate other potential problem areas.
