Choosing the right scent for yourself

Everybody loves to smell good though their tastes may differ. Some people like strong smells, while some prefer light, diluted ones. While buying a perfume for yourself, you should know what different fragrances are available. Woody, chypre, fruity, floral, leather, citrus and fougere are some different kind of smells on which all perfumes and colognes, sprays are based. How one smells is largely dependent on the body chemistry.

Not every perfume will smell the same of everybody so it is important to test the scent on you before buying. Smelling a whiff of perfume is never a clear indicator or a smell of a perfume. The three notes of any perfume tell you what it will smell immediately or after an hour and after three or four hours. Ideally, before deciding on a fragrance you should wait for few hours till you can smell its base notes. Eau De Parfum, Eau De toilette, Colognes are different forms of fragrances. Women go for EDPs, EDTs and eau de colognes vary in concentrations of perfumed oil. Perfumes are concentrated than eau de toilette which is stronger than eau de cologne. Men do not prefer strong smells, thus mens cologne are much sought after by them. Citrus, leather scents are preferred by males.

High Blood Pressure

My mother has always suffered from high blood pressure, well ever since I remember. I often worry that it might be hereditary as I have read that this could be one of the causes of high blood pressure. I therefore do what I can to avoid getting it myself by trying to look after my body. I know that regular exercise is good and so I do a lot of walking and try to do cardio workouts as well, but probably not often enough. I have also been looking in to safe weight loss because I am worried that I am getting a big bigger as I am getting older and I want to find out how to reverse that. I do not know much about dieting, I have never had to worry about it before but I do know that there are a lot of wrong ways of doing it. I have met a lot of people, who have lost weight and then put more back on, and that is not what I want to do. I think that I will visit my doctor and talk to him about it, discuss with him what I eat and see whether there are some ways that I can cut back or foods that I can replace to make losing weight easy and safe.
