I have always admired my friends Foxcroft blouses and she has been kind enough to give me one for my birthday this year. I have never known where to get them from and she has never told me, I always thought that it was because she wanted to look better than me and to keep getting compliments from me and so it was a lovely surprise when she bought one for me. I was so happy and just could not believe it! She did really well because I have just got a new pair of Ruby Rd trousers which it matches really well and so I now have a really nice set of clothes to wear when I am going out and about. I just need somewhere nice to go now – I will have to see if I can persuade my husband to take me out for a birthday meal somewhere nice! Or maybe I could go out for an evening with my friends and treat them to a drink to thank them for the presents that they have kindly given to me. Perhaps I could do both of them and have two nice occasions to wear my new clothes,

My company is currently sending people on training courses. This is great as we all thought that they would be holding back on training because of the financial situation but they think that it is the best thing for the company. We are all please because it means that we will get some great qualifications and if they do have to do any redundancies then we will have some new qualifications to brighten up out resumes. Some people are doing a MCITP certification boot camp next week and I will be helping to cover for them while they are there. Then they will be returning the favour a few weeks later when I get to attend the MCPD bootcamp. We do have to work hard at it and they expect us to pass the exams. If we don’t then we will be expected to take it again and may the examination fees ourselves. I think that this is fair enough and I am confident because I am lucky enough to have always been good at exams. I know some of my colleagues are worried about it, but I am sure that the course will be good enough to give us all the information that we need to be successful it is just a matter of being very attentive I think.

There are all sorts of courses that you can do these days and it can be hard to know which one will be the best for you to do. It is fine if your company sent you on an enterprise learning library course but if you have to choose yourself then it can be harder. It may not be easy to determine which of the courses is best for your to do to improve your employment prospects and therefore it could be well worth doing some research to make sure that you do not end up doing an online training library course and find that it does not help you to get a new job. It is therefore worth doing a lot of research and thinking about where you want your career to go and what you think will help it to move in that direction. It is worth even contacting companies who are offering positions that you are looking for to find out what skills they might be looking for so that you can make sure that you are doing the right thing. It would be very annoying if you did a course and then find out that it was not the right one.
